Round of 16: Mid-Tie Power Rankings
1. The Terrible Twos
2. Team EC
3. Team Jerusalem
4. Banana Island
5. Cantona, SaMo
6. Big Bend
7. Eastern Influence, JonnyRay United, Real Marin
8. The Continentalist
* Power Rankings are unscientifically determined by the results of the first leg of the tie. Points are assigned based on which club holds the advantage and how strong this advantage is.
Mid-way through the Round of 16, The Terrible Twos have seemingly grabbed the lead, with Team EC occupying the Runners-Up position, on the strength of Schalke, Roma, Liverpool, and Fenerbahçe wins. The only consensus picks of this round were Barcelona and Manchester United. Will The Continentalist's perceived mid-tie stumble ultimately prove costly? The rest of the pool can only hope.

Power Rankings are flawed! You definitely need to value those away goals. Look for Seville, Real Madrid, and Man U to capitalize. Tough going for Inter and Arsenal...
Ah, EI... I did value the away goals by weighting the advantages in three classes (big, average, or slight). While I agree with you that Sevilla and Real have an excellent chance of advancing you'd have a hard time convincing Istanbul or Rome that they don't at least hold a slight advantage having won at home. As for Man U, I did give them the advantage. Barcelona and Liverpool are the only teams holding big advantages.
