Despite losing both their captains to injury, GERMANY and GHANA advance.
Germany plays to avenge Ballack's injury and the Black Stars ride the African wave!
I cant believe Badstuber is playing in the World Cup. Sour grapes, complain complain. But even without Ballacks, and even though Klose and Gomes can't score, traditional German efficiency with a Brazilian striker could be quite potent.
I fancied Ghana to be the best African team, but without Essien. Hmmmmmmmmm.
Serbia have more than enough "ovics" to get them through.
This will be tight group but I think;

Africa gets another nod from our team. Dave can't pick Togo, so he's supporting Ghana to the west and Nigeria to the east. For now.
Germany and Ghana
Germany: This is a tough group for me, mostly due to the fact that I have no idea how good the Serbian team is. Seems like nobody is taking the Aussies seriously, so I won't either.
Ghana: Wouldn't that be an awesome story?
Germany is injured but wil make it through the 1st round of play. Bože pravde ... Serbia moves on.
The Krauts and someone from Africa has to advance, so Ghana it is.
CCFC has smelled too much Stankovic to deny the Serbs. And they play the same sneaky power game the Germans do, which seems to work well. Germany & Serbia.
