I'm taking the underdog again.. if Russia can knock out the Dutch, they certainly are poised to embarrass Spain (sorry Jeff :D ). Mother Russia it is.

Guus has never taken one of his underdogs to the finals of a major competition (I think, JV?) - but I like his chances here. Russia for me.
did everyone get the same video feed of the Russia-Netherlands match that I did? shots of very attractive blond dutch girls, with face paint - whole crowds of orange clad people sitting in their seats... and then it shifts to the russian sections, where no man has his shirt still on and no hair style is too short on the top nor too long in the back...
anyway, this city is crawling with russians, and i don't need the hassle of trying to pick my way over their prone figures in the park on the way to work Friday morning.
so let's take Spain.
p.s. Also Thursday is Gay Pride Parade day here in Jerusalem -- and I don't really think I want to see what happens when those two celebrations collide.

and where's schubin? i thought he was russian. means he'll probably go for spain this time, despite his record of betting against all teams composed of brown peeps that speak spanish... especially if they are from mexico

Too tough to call. Russia have been a revelation. Spain got a little timid against the Italians.
