OK. I'll kick this off in an unexpected fashion, by choosing against the English squad ... after all the English did to make me 8-0, I have to think they're not 75% of the best football in Europe.
So, Villarreal.
Crown City Football Club selects Arsenal. I don't know why, only that the English kill me when I pick against them.
Jerusalem's pick against the English is almost as surprising as the idea of Villarreal advancing to the semis. Real Marin expects the Gunners to depth charge the Yellow Submarine.

As much as it pains me, I'm going to have to go with the Gunners. And even though his PL debut has been quieter than expected, I expect Arshavin to make some noise.

Arsenal are back in form but Van P is injured and Arshavin is ineligible. Can Fabregas and Walcott bring the sparkle? Can Adebayor hit the form of last year? It's going to be close but Arsenal might just grab the vital goal.
I'm saying Arsenal although I wish Van P was playing.
Oh crap! Arshavin can't play? Or Van Persie? I should really do my research... Oh well, still sticking with the Gunners.
