The Greeks delay giving the cup back to the real Europeans so they drive it up. the Romanians set out to steal it for their own, but forget to change their clocks as they drive into Serbia to cut it off before it get's to Croatia and miss it. The Croats, following their Euro-backer (german) timesmanship is spot on and they steal it to capture the cup and use it as a bargaining chip to get into Europe.
This is the year of Torres and Ronaldo. Spain are fun to watch and it must be their time to win it. The pairings for the q' and semis mean that Spain are going to bump into 2 of either Italy, Holland or France. it's a tough road to walk. Portugal are also fun to watch but don't have the same striking power. Their path is easier. The only heavyweight in their path is Germany.
But happy endings are unusual in these kind of tournaments.A Spain Portugal final is too much to ask. Dark Horse??? Croatia. But the last Euro was won by the dark horse. I'm going for Spain over Croatia in the final. Gulp.
