Italy have the best balance. France have an exciting offense but their midfield is sans Zidane. Holland overloaded with midfield and offense but have no defence and a cautious coach. Rumania have en ex cokehead up front, and won their qualifying group ahead of Holland! Italy are always defensive at the group stage. Holland will outscore France 3-2 in the game of the tournament. France will play Italy needing to win. Ah jeez. This is impossible. Flip a coin.
Italy - Can't abide the diving, but World Cup 2006 proved just how effective a strategy it can be. The Azzurri have as much talent as anyone and can win the Group of Death if they start strong by shutting down the Dutch attack.
Netherlands - Very difficult to pick against Les Bleus, who are brimming with quality, but we think Ruud and the Oranje will score enough to cover the Dutch Achilles heel: defense. Van de Sar will have to bring his A+ game in net to see them through.
i am still confused- dutch are from the netherlands? is that a different country than holland? what are those people called? where's amsterdam? i think i would like it...

You guys have to get over the diving thing - watch an NBA game for God's sake. Italy will win this group followed by the Dutch.
