EI sticks with Man U for the double! Ronaldo has a poor game, but Rio and Giggs keep them in it, while Tevez picks up the winner. Ronaldo probably makes a penalty after another Drogba dive...
Big Bend is still in the Man U camp, although I am also confused by the rhetoric of EI. How does the Drogba dive (which by the way I despise and which tends to happen in combination with that whiney expression whenever he happens to not be scoring a goal) result in a Ronaldo PK?
The Chelsea momentum of late was really spurred by luck- the riise (how do spell that) own goal and the PK awarded against ManU in the premiership faceoff. Don't think they can muster enough to take the CL. Unfortunately, if that is the case, no way to stop EI from walking away with another pool victory...
We're going to miss EI's magnetic poetry football analysis in the off season...
After watching United barely get it done over Barca, we think it's finally Chelsea's time. The better half of Real Marin likes Drogba, and we both think Ballack has the bollocks to lead the Blues to glory in Moscow.

Bigmaggie picks chelsea. Thanks Jeff for our 15 minutes of basking in glory.
I have no idea who or what Eastern Influence is talking about, and frankly it's intimidating as a first post...
I flipped a coin. It fell behind the desk, and I can't find it. So I'll go with Chelsea.

SaMo selects ManU.
Chelsea.
EI has no idea what he was thinking. good catch by Big Bend. probably just meant that ronaldo will score and drogba will dive. hmmm...
understand ferdinand may be injured, so might have to switch to chelsea here.
Grant still makes way for Hiddink at the end of this one. will he continue to run Russia as well since Ambromovich is footing his bill? could happen.
where's knestrick? gonna still go blue? stick with your london boys? not nervous, are you? or you switching over to the red devils?

Tough one....My hearts with Chelsea-- it would be great to see them take this one, but my money's with ManU.
In case he doesn't get a chance to post, an out-of-town CANTONA takes United to win it all.
Reminder that this Final pick is worth 8 pts.
I'll be blacking out the game til I can watch it tonite.
hmmm, very tough to dicide... however, i'll go with ManU since my heart is with ManU!!
I'll go for my own personal double(winner+bonus pick) and go with Man U - though I actually think Chelsea will win.
Kudos to Real Marin - the best sportwriting duo in the blogosphere. They could even get me interested in MLS.
Oh - and Auckland - I was changing a diaper.
