I'm going to go against history and common sense here and pick England to win it all. Laugh all you want. I don't care. Picking Spain or Brazil is like picking the Yankees to win the World Series (heh heh).
C&B breaks the ice with a bold pick for England. However, having never won the tournament, La Furia Roja are hardly the hated Yankees.
Spain reigns as the maestros of the beautiful game. This time, attacking football lifts the cup.

I had a very nice weekend in Spain earlier this year... very nice wines and cheeses -- so I think I'll go with that.

Lets see; Spain have the best squad and they have the momentum. Brazil look pretty great as well and will have momentum as Africa's favorites.
The other teams like England/Germany/Holland/Italy/France are all flawed.
Lets all pray for the beautiful final. Brazil vs Spain.
If Torres re- discovers his fitness then SPAIN should reign.

...i'll enter the fray...and is considering those from the South American Continent. Brazil, I hear, has a new found defensive toughness and will squash the competition, peppered with offensive brillance - Argentina - whooow Diego - side bets on his behavior during the WC!!! We'll be puttin his post game analysis on the blog for sure...Messi wont be the same without his Barca buddies.

CCFC likes Bollo's strong endorsement of the Dutch, and the colorful Colonialists might find their way to the final. And Brazil is an ever-menacing force. But we're ascribing to a "new continent, new champion" philosophy and selecting Spain. They're solid everywhere. Even their back-up goalie is incredible. And man can they score. Espana. Espana.
